Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book a day tour?

We recommend booking at least a month in advance, as some venues — like museums and expos — may need advance bookings themselves and can sell out. That said, we'll always do our best to accommodate whatever notice we're given, though very short notice, such as one day, is unlikely to be enough time for us to arrange a tour.

Can we customise the itinerary?

Yes, absolutely — we want you to have a great day, and we're happy to adjust the itinerary to suit you. Please also note that we may need to adjust the planned itinerary ourselves if circumstances require it:

Disclaimer: All activities, sightseeing stops and timings in this itinerary are subject to change based on weather conditions, traffic, parking availability, road closures, venue capacity, or any other circumstances beyond our control. We will always do our best to follow the planned schedule; however, alternative arrangements may be made if needed for safety or practicality. Wheelaway accepts no liability for changes, delays, or missed stops caused by these external factors.
Is a driver included in the tour price?

Yes — every day tour includes a driver. Please note that our driver's role is to safely drive and support you throughout the day; they aren't a tour guide and won't be providing guided commentary or historical narration.

What's included in the price?

Your tour price includes the vehicle, driver, unlimited kilometres, eTag for toll roads, and full comprehensive insurance. It does not include entry fees, meals, drinks, or souvenirs — these are paid separately on the day. If you'd like our driver to accompany you into a venue for extra support, their entry fee would also need to be covered.

What Our Passengers Say

★★★★★

"Thank you Wheelaway!! The Van was so easy to drive. It was nice to have that freedom for the last 2 weeks to take my Mum (who is bedridden) out and about in her power wheelchair and enjoy the holidays with family and not having to worry about calling a Maxi Cab."

Trudi Gertrude
★★★★★

"Excellent service, vehicle and ease of use. Would recommend them over wheelchair accessible taxis anyday."
