The Kia Carnival is a versatile and spacious vehicle, perfect for families and individuals who require extra room. However, for those with mobility challenges, a standard vehicle configuration may not always meet their needs. This is where a second row conversion for wheelchair accessibility comes into play.
What does Second Row Conversion Mean?
A second row conversion involves modifying the second row of seats in your Kia Carnival to create a more accessible and accommodating space for wheelchair users. This process can include installing specialized seats, adding ramps or lifts, and ensuring there is ample space for maneuvering a wheelchair. The goal is to create a seamless and comfortable travel experience for individuals with mobility challenges.

Features a Second Row Conversion Kia Carnival
Middle Seat in Second Row is Removed
In the vehicles that we have the middle seat in the second row has been removed, and other modifications have been made, so that the wheelchair can be seated in replacement of the middle chair in the second row. This means that the person in the wheelchair can sit amongst all the other passengers, as opposed to behind everyone in the third row, and the driver can reach the person in the wheelchair if need be whilst driving.
Manual Ramp
A manual ramp has been added to the back of the vehicle, so a passenger in a wheelchair can be pushed into the back of the Kia Carnival. All you need to do is open the boot, and pull the ramp down.
Tie Down Straps
Tie dow straps have been added to the vehicle to holster in the wheelchair whilst moving. When you have pushed the wheelchair into the van, you need to clasp the wheelchair onto the tie downs with special hooks that have been specifically added to the vehicle.
