1. Quay
Located in the heart of Sydney Harbour, Quay is one of the city’s most prestigious dining destinations. The restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, alongside a menu that showcases the finest in modern Australian cuisine.
Quay is fully wheelchair accessible, with attentive staff ready to assist.
There are two lifts next to the terminal entry which provide access onto the second floor. Turn right out of the lift and you’ll find a step-free entry into the restaurant. Space is tight between both indoor and outdoor tables, which may mean some are inaccessible. There is also an accessible toilet on site. Designated parking spots can be found in the Wilson Clocktower carpark.

2. Aria
Situated next to the Sydney Opera House, Aria is known for its exceptional service and exquisite dishes crafted by renowned chef Matt Moran. The restaurant features a sleek, contemporary design with easy access for wheelchair users, including an accessible restroom and spacious seating arrangements.
A ramp outside the main entrance leads you up to the concierge desk. There is step-free access around the venue and to the unisex toilets. The closest disability designated parking spots can be found at the Wilsons carpark in Macquarie Street.

3. Bennelong
Housed within the iconic Sydney Opera House, Bennelong offers a unique dining experience with a focus on Australian produce. Enjoy a meal while taking in the architectural marvels and sweeping harbour views.
The Restaurant and Bar at Bennelong is wheelchair friendly, with lift access via the following entry points:
The Restaurant and City Circle areas on the lower level of Bennelong: Via the main entrance doors, located on Box Office level.
The Bar and Opera Circle areas on the upper level of Bennelong: Through Stage Door (entrance under the Monumental Steps) via the Joan Sutherland Theatre lifts and outdoors across the Upper Podium.
There is a stair lift inside the restaurant and a fully accessible bathroom can be found at the opera house next door.
There is plenty of space between the tables.

The Table, on the middle level of the Restaurant, is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.

4. Cafe Sydney
Perched atop the historic Customs House at Circular Quay, Cafe Sydney provides stunning panoramic views of the harbour. The menu features a blend of modern Australian and international flavours.
They have lift access from the ground level to their restaurant and whilst their indoor dining is elevated by 2 steps, their terrace is flat. Their bathroom is accessible and flat, located next to reservations downstairs. The bathroom can fit an electric wheelchair, but their life has a max capacity of 180 kilos. When you book make sure to note your accessibility requirements, they are usually quite full but will make sure to accommodate for you if you let them know.

5. The Grounds of Alexandria
A favorite among locals and tourists alike, The Grounds of Alexandria offers a rustic, garden-inspired setting with an array of dining options. It’s a perfect spot for a casual brunch or a relaxed meal.
Both the Potting Shed and The Cafe are wheelchair accessible (you’re best to enter the site via Huntley Street), and there’s so much to do like greeting the goats and chickens, enjoying a delicious breaky, lunch or dinner, and perusing the pop-ups and art that’s always on rotation.
Both the restaurant and the cafe at The Grounds of Alexandria are wheelchair accessible. You can even access the gardens from the entrance, where there are no steps.
On the other side of the cafe, there is an accessible bathroom, which is a 5 min journey up a ramp from the cafe.
There is a limited number of accessible parking available on the premises.

6. Altitude
Located on the 36th floor of the Shangri-La Hotel, Altitude offers an unparalleled dining experience with breathtaking views of Sydney’s skyline. Indulge in a luxurious meal while gazing out over the city.
A lift in the hotel lobby will take you up to the restaurant on the 36th floor. Some of the venue’s seating is restricted and this may mean some tables are inaccessible at peak times. There are accessible toilets on site and designated parking spots can be found around 200 meters away in the Wilson carpark here.

7. Nomad
Nestled in Surry Hills, Nomad is celebrated for its Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a range of delicious dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients in a comfortable, accessible environment.
There is a wheelchair lift at the entrance to allow for wheelchair occupants to enter the restaurant and avoid the 5/6 steps at the entrance. Once your on restaurant level there is no steps.
There is a designated wheelchair accessible bathroom and it can fit electric wheelchair in it.
There are certain tables that are more accessible so let them know on booking that you require wheelchair accessibility.
If you have a disability sticker you can park on the street, however, Foster street is a loading dock until 6pm so can be very busy before this time, otherwise there is a Wilson carpark close by but you need to go up a hill to get to the restaurant from the carpark.

8. The Dining Room at Park Hyatt Sydney
Located in The Rocks, The Dining Room offers a luxurious dining experience with spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Savor refined dishes in an elegant setting, perfect for special occasions.
They have a ramp on entry and beyond this there are no steps. They have valet parking and there is paid disability parking spots on the roads. There is plenty of space between the tables and they have a wheelchair accessible bathroom just before the ramp.

9. Botanic House
Situated within the Royal Botanic Garden, Botanic House offers a tranquil dining experience surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy modern Asian cuisine in a serene, picturesque environment.
You can access the Botanic house via a ramp and there are no other steps inside the venue. There is plenty of space between the tables for a wheelchair to manoeuvre around.
The best accessible parking can be found at Wilsons carpark, about a 15 minute walk to the Botanic House, or you can park on the streets near Woolloomooloo gate. The Wilsons carpark is near a big art gallery and will also bring you to the Woolloomooloo gate. This gate, whilst it has steps, it also has a side entrance for wheelchair patrons. Call the Botanic house before you come and they can help you find your way from the gate to the Botanic House. Once you get to this gate its only a few minutes walk to the Botanic House.
They have an accessible bathroom however it does not open automatically and may not fit all wheelchairs.
They also have a buggy service for manual wheelchairs.

10. Mr. Wong
A hidden gem in the heart of Sydney, Mr. Wong offers a blend of Cantonese and contemporary Chinese cuisine. Experience the vibrant atmosphere and flavorful dishes in this popular dining spot.
The first floor is wheelchair accessible and there is a lift to their downstairs venue.
The closest accessible parking is Secure Carpark at 123 pit street or Wilsons Carpark at 20 Bond Street. They are both less than 5 minutes away from the venue.
If you call them before arriving they will assure there is plenty of space between the tables so that your wheelchair can manoeuvre around.
